I was a paid Contributing Editor at Suite 101 for two years, 1999-2001. I am a Personal Aide, who writes poetry, short stories and working on a novel called "Divine Encounters". I was published on Useless Knowledge, March 5, 2005.

I write for the Temple City "Applause" every three months. I am a volunteer for the Temple City City Hall and have been for 5 or 6 years.

I have won awards for two of my poems. I hope to publish a small collection of my poetry. I am writng a romance-spiritual novel called "Divine Encounters"
A poem I wrote for my mother:
-My Inspiration-
She gave us love and now she's gone to another place.
I pray to the lord above, she's proud of me, as I see her in my face.
I admire all she was able to do,
A wife, a mother and a career too.
Words of encouragement were easy for her to give.
Why then, do I find it so hard to forgive?
In my future, I'll use her words, they'll help me in all I do.
I know in my head she is dead, but my heart can't accept it as true.
Mom, you should know, all the words I will write.
Have been inspired by you, although you are beyond my sight.

Interests: I have many interests. My passion is my Writing yet I desire many more successes in the future as a Writer. I have two projects I am working on but have not completed. A book of my own poetry and a Spiritual Novel titled "Divine Encounters' in the works.
