I write ... with a general love for all that is beautiful in life, painting a picture with words, which will show readers where I have been and allow them to explore it on their own terms. A combinaton of inherent writing talent, natural curiosity, and a spirit for adventure has been nurtured by nearly half a lifetime, working in a myriad of businesses and a bevy of interesting positions.

Enhancing these qualities is a youthful background in the arts from classical dancer, to thespian, to poet. And what differences in my writing perspicacity would there be had I not been raised by a creative mother, complete with egg carton lamps and a penchant for the metaphysical? (And somehow, my farm-raised, Navy and heavy construction equipment driver dad, good-humoredly put up with it all!) Education is certainly not all academic ...
An editor for the ANTIQUE & Collectables Newsmagazine, a popular West Coast publication based in San Diego County, California, first recognized my potential and offered my first paid writing assignments. We worked together from the mid-1990s through the latter years of the 2000s. I was sad to see them fold.
With many magazine articles under my belt, I'm working on a couple of books (update - one published, still a couple to go), with many more in meandering around in my head ... let's Rock!
