Writing is my foremost method of communicating.
Childhood scribbles were easily interpretted by my family who encouraged me to write. Now that I am in my forties it is a passion I long to inudlge in more.
I began writing as a child with the help of my Mother who was an English and Literature teacher. High School offered me my first editorial position with our newspaper, yearbook and a daily news program.
The business world gave even more opportunities for writing and editing and introduced me to Technical and Research writing.
As "LifeStyles" editor for The Times-Journal in Fort Payne, Alabama during the height of The Group Alabama's magnificent career I was offered opportunity. I wrote for the June Jam Newsletter and was on the Program Committee for the annual concert.
The Alabama Jaycees then gave me the challenging opportunity of resurrecting the "Alabama Jaycee" newsletter which I did successfully and brought national recognition.
