As a former journalist, Judi Blaze has written and published articles in both newspapers and magazines, working as a reporter and editor, before turning her interest to fiction 15 years ago.
She's written three novels, two which were self published and one that's being shopped around. Her fist novel, On Indian Time, won an award at First Novel Fest in Orlando. She has also won awards for her short stories and was the first place winner in fiction at last's year's Kay Snow competition. Her second novel is called, Riding On A Rainbow, a story about Irish Travelers.
She has a completed book of short stories and is working on her fourth novel and a nonfiction book. The South Florida University selected "Squid Jiggers" for their anthology in 2002.
She's attended several writer's conferences. She's a member of the Seattle Writers, Pacific Northwest Writers and Willamette Writers.
She's currently in the process of looking for an agent for her novel, Beach People.
