I find solace and challenge in a journalism professor's two mottos:
* Nothing is lost; it's only misplaced. * Ink never dries.
I recently completed a novel, Echo's Version, the story of a man hit by a bus in New York who suffers amnesia and travels to California to find his long-lost sister.
My short story "Nonfinito" is forthcoming in "The Long Meanwhile: Stories of Coming and Going," a literary anthology (Hourglass Books).
Between contractual obligations, I am at work on a new novel, West of the Equator, which focuses on the family of a husband and father who loses his thumbs in an assault. Interests: Memory, Jazz, Cultural Anthropology
