I was born in Delaware, grew up in Brooklyn, NY and now live in Pennsylvania. I began writing at the age of eleven, composing songs, poems and short stories. But my parents, with their old world thinking, cast serious doubt over a future in writing and begged me to become an accountant. After college, I did just that. As the years went by, I kept writing short stories until the small piles of unpublished manuscripts became large piles.
I had never contemplated the idea of writing a novel and, in fact, was quite terrified of such a monumental task.
Ah . . . but such a task, though daunting and seemingly impossible, turned out to be quite a labor of love. I love history and I love to write and these two forces propelled me into researching Spanish heraldry. And so I delved into Spain's long forgotten past and found a plethora of valuable information.
For nearly a year I researched Spain's history, especially the dark ages and obtained enough data to write my first novel, Profound Crossroads, published through AuthorHouse.
Now, I don't know how well my book will do because it is an independent production, but I've got to keep on trying. Writing for me is like an eternal fire blazing in the pit of my soul, never dampening and never faltering.
Interests: I love ancient history.
