I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Public Administration. Always a hard worker, by the time I moved to Israel in 1975, my CV (including part time/summer jobs) included gas station attendant, truck driver, night time cashier at a classy restaurant/bar, dining hall worker, grounds-keeper helper at a local cemetery, Social Security Administration clerk, assistant manager at McDonalds, and office manager for an export company.
In the early 80’s I made a career change with a practical engineering degree in computer programming. As a senior systems analyst and programmer at Israel Military Industries LTD., my efforts earned me “Worker of the Year” honors at the Jerusalem IMI factory for 1995. Shortly after, I made the transition to the emerging Internet field, and for the past 7 years have been the site webmaster of a major governmental web site.
Today I enjoy off road bike riding, a habit that I started following my heart attack several years ago.
Married for over 20 years, my wife and I live on the outskirts of Jerusalem with our 4 kids, Lambchop (family dog), 6 parakeets, Nivi (the cat), and a whole bunch of Nivi’s relatives and friends who pop over at snack time…………….
Interests: bike riding - particularly off road
