Fans have touted Cheryl Kaye Tardif as the "Canadian J. D. Robb".
Tardif is the author of the 'psi-fi' suspense thriller, Divine Intervention and the emotional mystery, Whale Song, a novel that has become a hit with adult and young adult readers. Whale Song has garnered interest by a leading Canadian film producer whom is considering the "purely Canadian" novel as a movie option. Trafford Publishing, a Victoria-based Print-On-Demand publisher, published both novels.
Tardif also wrote a public service announcement for a racial harmony campaign. Her PSA script, One Voice ~ One World placed third and aired on cable channels in Alberta. She has published poetry in small Canadian newspapers and was the author of two regular newspaper columns in BC. She also published a work of poetry in an American anthology, and currently maintains a website.
Born in British Columbia, Canada, Cheryl Kaye Tardif was an 'army brat' and then an 'army wife', and has lived all across Canada. She currently resides in Alberta with her husband, Marc, her daughter, Jessica, the current foreign Homestay student and the family dog/reincarnated spoiled child, Royale. Tardif enjoys thoroughly researching her topics, and utilizes her connections with various people in professional or expert fields.
Cheryl Kaye Tardif is already working on her next novel, The River, a gripping techno-thriller that is both thought provoking and terrifying. She has also started Divine Justice, the second in the Divine mystery series, and an anthology for teens.
