I was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1967. I left there was I was 7 and have never been back. Not to slight the good people of T.O. I simply have not had the occasion to return.
I have lived in Canada for much of my life but have done shorter stints in England (Bridlington, East Yorkshire) and the US (San Diego).
The idea to publish a book came about, like many of the best ideas, over a pint of beers with the boys. After much discussion and encouragement I left the pub with a brand new plan, to encapsulate all I had learned about the lawn care and gardening business during my 10 year tenure (Hey! That's a homonym) in the business. I spend the next several months following through on this grandiose plan. I worked days and I worked nights all the while holding down a full time job but have now completed what I consider my greatest achievement... I've written a book.
The book which is tentetively titled 'How to Start and Run a Landscape Maintenance Company' (an beautifully creative title assigned by my publisher) is due to hit the shelves in February 2005.
Interests: I should think writing is a given... so spiritual things, snowboarding, lawn care/gardening and cats are all passions of various degree.
