Half Pint

Quickly entering my mid-thirties and unable to stop time despite numerous atempts, I am basically "just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to...", wait. That's the Julia Roberts movie. This is about me.

I am a thirtysomething, happily married woman who has recently returned to Florida from the land of the fruits and nuts - California. I am as yet unpublished but have recently completed my first novel and still have the unrejected hope of a newbie! I have enjoyed the process, and quickly came to realize that letting the book write itself is the safest way to keep my sanity. I write women's fiction, and love exploring the complex relationships between the sexes.

What writer doesn't dream of getting a fabulous agent and being published? I am not in the minority...I admit I want it more than anything. I have a habit of tredging through the mess to get to the good stuff, so I plan on being around for a while. I don't give up easily, actually not at all, and realize without fear that I am one of many who wish the same wishes.

When I can tear myself away from my computer long enough, I enjoy spending long, lazy afternoons with my husband, watching movies or chauffeuring him around the golf course. I have recently expanded my golf channel viewing time to 40 minutes before passing out due to boredom, and am very proud of myself! I am completely hooked on reality television, and am currently monitoring my heart rate through football season as I cheer my team to victory!
