With a Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering, I am no stranger
to technical writing. In fact, my 200+ page thesis on
airflow over wings really sparked my interest in writing.
While most graduate students cringe at the thought of
writing a thesis, I actually enjoyed placing my thoughts on
paper. Since that time, I have written several grant
proposals seeking research funds from the U.S.
government, business plans, and other proposals.

I have also developed strong creative writing skills over
the past several years and am forever learning how to
better express myself. I have been published writing book
introductions, magazine articles on nature and
photography, song lyrics, poetry, and even some jokes
and short stories. Simply put, I greatly enjoy writing with a
purpose. I am currently working on my first novel, a
fictional comedy that crosses boundaries into science
fiction, religion, and adventure.

Those who influence my writing include Douglas Adams,
Agatha Christie, James Michener, Louis L'Amour, Monty
Python, Charlie Chaplin, Carl Sagan, various cast members
of Saturday Night Live, and Albert Einstein.

I'm also a musician who loves to compose and arrange
new sounds with familiarity. I dabble in the media arts as
well.

I enjoy all forms of writing and am always eager to pursue
projects with a purpose.
