Kiran Nazish wrote her first article when she was in class 2 of her primary school at St Josephs Convent High. She started writing professionally with DAWN and The News is 1999 as an outsource contributor. She has written for numerous publications including all leading news and publishing houses in Pakistan. such as Young World, Us, Teen Zine, The Review, Magazine (Sunday Dawn), Sci Tech, SPIDER, HERALD, YOU magazine, INSTEP and so on.
She has shown great inclination towards topics of social awareness, science and technology etc. Her columns with a punch of humor have shown great feedbacks to her editors.
Since 2003, she has focused more on writing about social issues with research and surveys. She has also written for various TV Channels including AAJ TV, GEO TV, AAG TV, HUM TV and ARY Digital.
She wishes to be active in social work for the promotion of education in the underdeveloped and underprivileged areas of Pakistan...
Materializing her wish to spread in awareness and positive social activity she formed Empowering Youth Org in 2007, and did massive number of project with the youth to bring in positive social change. Through Empowering Youth she doesn't only want to bring in change in the smaller areas but has also kept focus on the large city areas where people live without any 'sense' and 'purpose' of life.
Her aim through her writing and social work has been to embark a thought process into people that makes them more responsible and hence more self dependent. Interests: Science, Sociology, IT, Education, Fashion, Parenting and Health.
