After studying art in college, I discovered computers in the early 1980's. I started out as a systems manager and ended up running a series of computer training centers, which led to my working as a freelance trainer. Training led to writing training materials, which led to writing computer books. Since the mid 1990's, I've authored, co-authored, and contributed to more than 25 nationally-published books on desktop apps, web design, and graphics. Since 1990, I've taught more than 10,000 people to use computers more effectively and creatively. I've also written more than 100 training manuals and training materials for print and online use. In addition to writing, I run my own company, Limehat & Company, Inc., through which I offer web design, training, and marketing consulting (with an internet focus) to growing businesses and non-profit organizations in the PA, NJ, and NY areas. Interests: Web design, graphics and illustration, marketing, and training people to do more than they thought possible with computers and software.
