Ameth Carmicheal did not grow up longing to be a writer;
in fact, the urge, strong as it is, is relatively recent. After
graduating from a local University. She began teaching
first grade at a private school in Dallas, Texas. Concurrent
with teaching, Ameth began writing features for local
newspapers and magazines, taking up subjects in art,
education, and publishing.

With a purely elegant flair, Ameth Carmicheal, uses
surrealism with a minimal amount of humor to show her
broad range of literary skills. Her past credits include such
diverse publications as The Bobby Baker Series For
Children, and three collections of poetry, Color Me
Imperfect And Real, Tempus Fugit and Et Je Pleure "And I
Weep," in two languages English and French.

Ameth Carmicheal lives in Dallas, Tx. In addition to these
books, she has written and published numerous short
stories and poems in literary magazines, papers and
