I founded BooksForABuck.com in 2000 to help make electronic books affordable (novel-length fiction at $3.99--but only $1.00 during their first month of availability) and to allow writers with specific and powerful voices a chance to get their work to the readers.
Before founding www.booksforabuck.com, I worked in high technology, am a longtime member of Romance Writers of America and Dallas Area Romance Authors, have written a number of romances, mysteries, and fantasy novels, and earned a Ph.D. in Economics.
In my spare time I play duplicate bridge, am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and attempt ambitious bicycle trips (some successful, some not). My martial arts and bicycling both show up in my books as does my interest in history and the paranormal.
I've finaled or won a number of writing contests and have achieved best-seller and highest-rating status on Fictionwise. Interests: Romance, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, book reviews, bicycling, bridge, martial arts (Tae Kwon Do, Kobudo, Jujitsu)
