Durban, South Africa Inspired by the absurdity I see around me every single day living in a place like South Africa, I can't help but put some of it down onto paper. That said, I prefer to stay away from absolute realism (but SA rarely provides any of that...) and focus instead on humour and parody. Being an amateur actor (in the sense that I don't get paid) I also delve into the world of scriptwriting occasionally. I can't stand all this consciousness about South Africa's democracy and where we've been and where we are going, so I prefer to ignore it's problems, and quite frankly ignore it completely when I write. I'm pretty sure it won't find out. Interests: Other than writing? Or within writing? Other than includes playing and listening to music, acting and reading. Within is mostly humour, mixed with fantasy if pushed.
