William Honachefsky is an environmental scientist and a licensed professional planner and licensed land surveyor. His publications are located in 64 countries around the world. He has lectured nationally and internationally including the American Museum of Natural Hst, National Geographic and the Environmental Protection Agency. He is the author of more than 60 published scientific reports and papers. He has conducted more than 1,000 environmental investigations and collected thousands of samples of soil, water, air, sediment, fish, and benthic macroinvertebrates. In his career, he has worked for several private engineering firms, the New jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the USDA Soil Conservation Service. He is the author of three books on land use and environmental protection. Interests: Lectures frequently on ecologically based municipal land use planning and environmental protection issues and is considered both a national and international expert in these areas.
