Born in Canada, brought up in Europe. Never quite finished that doctoral dissertation. Have written everything from novels to screenplays, travel, philosophy, features, investigative, criticism and commentary.
Careers have included stuntman, propsman, private investigator, drug/alcohol counselor, business/legal consultant, university lecturer, bill collector, ethicist, bodyguard, SCUBA instructor and more. Currently living on the Vancouver Island where I am a business conultant, university lecturer, and regular political commentator for a number of publications including the Jakarta Post and ASIA! Magazine. I also wrote regular humour/politics/cultural column for The Peak
