i have made several short documentaries and "experimental videos...
1n 2003 i made my first drama based on the writings of an air-line stewerdess and ideas from my actors and my own.
Now im working more solidly on a screenplay about the upper middle class in cairo, satellite cities, ambition, subhurban angst, money, drug addiction , sex etc...
the satellite cities are being built whilst the characters are being destroyed, in a sense....
that is my latest endevour
it started as a kind of diary/character study then its kind of making its way into "novel" form, then eventually screenplay which will reform the story or book into images, scenes and action...
its hard
i have about 6 major characters who are very different from one another.....
its quite hard to get an 'ensemble together
i hope discussion with other writers will take me out of isolation and guive me the courage and motivation to overcome some writing obstacles.... Interests: Film making, reading (obvious), researching
