Until now I have written primarily for stage and since I wrote, composed and directed my first musical I have also written songs for various vocalists and bands. I have made two documentaries while doing creative writing workshops with juveniles in Pollsmoor prison and have contributed to the development of various projects and concepts for Television and screen. I have written radio dramas and docu-dramas for community radio addressing an array of social issues. Have also scripted a thirteen part television drama for mafike productions to be screened on Botswana TV.
My compilation of poetry is called a "rhapsody in green" (The colour of the prison clothes I wore at the time that many of the poems were written.)
I contribute regularly to ROOTZ magazine and am currently working with Cedric Samson on his biography.
My latest play premiered at the 2008 National Arts Festival and I am currently producing and directing a performance tribute to the iconic South African poet, James Matthews. Interests: Theatre and filmaking. youth development.
