Books represent knowledge, expression, freedom, adventure, creativity, escape – so it's no surprise to me when I analyze it, most of my adult life has been lived in support of the book.
I once characterized my work as a compiler/editor and writer for books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series as being a mid-wife and foster parent to writers and their words - often a fertility specialist, as well. The creation of a book is like having a child. It's preceded by a courtship between writer and publisher that is consummated with a pre-nuptual agreement and months later, a birth.
I am fortunate to work with a creative, successful publisher who allows me to find the challenges and inspiration that keep my interests alive, provides a page for my words and a venue for millions of readers to sample the work of so many wonderful writers. Interests: life in all its forms
