About Ralph DiGennaro
A former Men’s Style Editor at the New York Times Magazine and Gentlemen’s Quarterly, Ralph DiGennaro is one of the preeminent voices in fashion and luxury journalism. His men’s fashion writing and styling has appeared in Esquire, The New Yorker, Business Week, New York Newsday, Departures, Robb Report, Cigar Aficionado and a host of other national magazines. He is currently a Senior Contributing Writer/Editor to Vox Hamptons, Caviar Affair and Senior LifeStyle Editor for Nicklaus Magazine. Ralph DiGennaro is a co-author of the book, Brioni: Fifty Years of Style (Octavo 1995), and ghost author of The Boutonniere: Style in One’s Lapel (Universe, 2000). He has also written copy and consulted on creative for such prestigious fashion retailers as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue as well as for international designers as Giorgio Armani, Brioni and Ralph Lauren Media. In 1979 he was the inaugural recipient of the Neckwear Association of America (NAA) Journalism Award for “Excellence in Fashion Reporting.” In 1991 the NAA honored him with a Lifetime Achievement Award. He lives and works from his home on the north shore of eastern Long Island.
