Truly a country boy I spent a lot of time outdoors but even more time reading. I think that some turmoil in my early life made me view the worlds I found in books as places of retreat. Throughout school I found that reading voraciously helped me learn to write as well. College further encouraged my interest in literature and writing and I managed to persuade the University of South Carolina to donate an English degree. Since then I have been employed in a variety of fields, all but one involving writing of some sort. I've been published through university press and online. As I get older I find that the worldshaking opinions of my youth are less astounding than I had thought but that simple observations about life are facinating to me. Interests: I am passionate about communication. All other disciplines fall apart without the ability to communicate with others. Society cannot exist without an interaction between its members.
