I have written a book entitled "The King's Quinto" The book is a history of the Elizabethans who lived in England in the sixteenth century and is entitled "The Life and Times of Sir Walter Raleigh (1552-1618)." The book took me 7 years to research and write and Walter Sparrow the actor, who was a personal friend of mine was going to turn the book into a filmscript. Sadly, Mr. Sparrow died on May 31st, 2000. Included in the book are Raleigh's trial at Winchester in 1603, his speech on the scaffold in 1618, his Apology to King James I of England, his letters Patent from King James I of England to discover Guiana, together with extracts from Raleigh's own book "The Great, Rich and Beautiful Empire of Guiana 1596. I include information on what the Elizabethans ate, wore, what money they spent, and how they cleaned their teeth etc. My book is published by PublishAmerica in Maryland. ISBN 1-4137 0828 5. You can order the book online at www.publishamerica.com, www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com also lightening press uk limited.
The book is released on 28th March 2004 but it has already sold out on amazon and in the UK.
I have also written short stories and sonnets and poems and I am waiting for them to be published. I am looking for an agent to represent me to a publisher for my next work.
