I have two favorite quotes which pretty much sum up my world view. The first is from Albert Einstein:
"The universe is not only queerer than we imagine, it is queerer than we CAN imagine."
The second is from Shakespeare's Hamlet: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy".
Over the years I've become a bit of an expert on the topic of the UFO phenomenon. I approach the subject as subjectively as possible and try to see it from a sociological/psychological perspective. Most of my published articles, both here in the U.S. and abroad, have focused on this issue and I've appeared as a guest to discuss such topics on various radio programs.
I'm currently proposing a column intended for magazine or newspaper. The column is called The N.O.S.E. (News Of Strange Events).
Nearly everyone is fascinated by the unusual and the unexplained. Hence, the popularity of TV shows over the years like Unsolved Mysteries, In Search Of, and History's Mysteries; not to mention both the print version and the broadcast version of Ripley's Believe It Or Not. That same curiosity and fascination are the reasons your readers will enjoy THE N.O.S.E. (News Of Strange Events)©.
THE N.O.S.E.© is a 700 - 800 word column focusing on unusual, and often unexplained phenomena; stories that truly make you go, "Hmm..." .
THE N.O.S.E. is both entertaining and informative.
THE N.O.S.E. attempts to be as factual as possible and makes every effort to distinguish between fact, fiction, and speculation. That's what distinguishes THE N.O.S.E. from the so called supermarket tabloids. They invent half the stories they print!
THE N.O.S.E. brings you real stories about real people and real events. Strange stories, yes, but at least we're not making them up!
