Victoria, Victoria, Australia Email: penoestra@hotmail.com Jeanne Solity, PGCE, Dip Man, MA Lon Uni, PhD(current) is an Australian author of the Gender Communication Series, three new literacy and English teaching texts that incorporate gender, culture and class into secondary and tertiary and TAFE teaching areas. She has established innovative education project in these areas in the UK and Australia.
She was the founder and coordinator of the Hampton Women's Writing and Publishing Group and established her own Publishing house in 1998. A Fine Kettle of Fish published in 1998 also is a collection of humourous short stories and poetry documenting 14 women journeys to Melbourne, Australia. This book recieved excellent reviews from leading Australian authors.
Jeanne has conducted many lectures and workshops throughout the world including the launch of her literacy and numeracy texts at the UNESCO in Bangkok, in 1999 Interests: jeanne Solity has a wide range of interests including performing, painting and actively involved in politics seeking to draw attention through her writings and activism, to important health, social and women's issues.
