Irishman living in Stockholm archipelago. Write different kinds of texts, from medical to copywriting and then more creative stuff. Been travelling and living in different areas of Europe (UK, Poland, Germany, Austria, Spain and Sweden) for the past 16 years and primarily in Sweden.
I have a background in journalism and startups. Started first internet venture in 1997 and kind of stumbled on from there. Still develop online services and a couple of projects are always on the boil, out of interest and because I'm some sort of startup geek. At the moment I earn my daily crust consulting in digital strategy for blue chips and also helping smaller startups to get out of the starting gates. At the moment I'm writing poetry, a couple of film scripts and I am working on a novel.
In non-fiction I have translated, edited and part-written a non-fiction book on business & valuations for Financial Times, written for many corporate blue-chip clients, and been published in national newspapers such as the Irish Times in political articles and a variety of provincial magazines.
Interests: language, semiotics, philosophy, sports, psychology, entrepreneurship, corporate
citizenship, marketing, startups, innovation, the web and finding the perfect pint of stout.
