I was a banker for twenty years before beginning a writing career in 1989. I have had ten books published, including Mohandas Gandhi, a Biography (2005), Ralph Nader, a Biography (Greenwood Press, 2004), Gloria Steinem, a Biography (Greenwood Press, 2004), The Dalai Lama, a Biography (Greenwood Press, 2003), The Navajo (Lucent Books, 2000)and Diana: The Life of a Princess (Andrews McMeel, 1998). My articles and short stories have also appeared in Writer's Digest, Wild West, Pennyslvania, Calliope, and AppleSeeds. From 1997 - 2003, I was also an instructor for the Institute of Children's Literature. No subject is too hard or boring. I love to learn.
