I was born and raised in the USA but met my wife in Israel while studying to be a Reform Rabbi. She was a widow with three young children. We married and returned to the US where I continued my studies eventually switching to urban planning. As a graduate student living in Cincinnati in the 60s, I became involved with the local counterculture and a regional theater group. In 1970 we returned to Israel where I worked with NBC TV news and in the Israeli film industry. In this capacity I covered the war in 1973. We then relocated in Central America (Belize) where I developed several agricultural projects including a 2000 acre banana project, working with United Brands. This was followed by a return to the States and the embracing of the beliefs of a messianic Jew - the acceptance of Yeshua as Lord and savior. We later returned to Israel where we live in the Galilee and where I have completed a memoir and am working on a film script based on that memoir.
