In March 2005, I was elected Vice President for the Gulf Coast Writers Association [which boasts 103 members at present.] This is a far cry from 1992 when I was 'guaranteed death' due to a thought-to-be terminal liver condition. However, this past September, I was told my liver was fine.
As for my sci-fi trilogy, THE FINAL PHASE has since been given a 'thumbs up' by the highly-regarded Midwest Book Review. Meantime, I have finished a revised, three book revision of it complete with star chart and a new way of reading fiction.
I call it 'flexline reading' whereby one can read the work by story line rather than the old fashioned way of cover-to-cover. By utilizing this method, a reader can now get the general gist of the piece without having to read the entire novel.
In the past, I have worked as a newspaper reporter [last covering Friday night high school football games for The Ft. Myers NEWS-PRESS], written about our troops stationed in Okinawa, Japan [for] and have published short stories [such as with MY LEGACY literary magazine.]
