I am a twenty-six-year-old Indonesian author writing in English. My publsihed works are mainly newspaper articles dealing with political and social phenomena. I have finished a novel entitled Flowers of Repose, a story charged with mythology, politics and human relations, set in the turbulent year of 1998 when Indonesian dictator Soeharto was ousted. The book also dwells on the myth of Nyai Roro Kidul, the Javanese Great Goddess, whose cult has somehow survived into modern times and is very much alive today.
Interests: My current interests are politics, history and mythology.
