Internationally read author and poet Branch Isole describes his writing as short stories of shared common interests with adult themes. While many poets today attempt to overwhelm with ‘slam’ language, Branch’s poetry is more a whisper than a shout, directed at the mind as well as the senses.
“The lessons of life are universal” said Branch in a recent interview from his home in Hawaii. He goes on to explain “Most people tend to shy away from or avoid poetry and perceive the genre as staid or archaic. These are stories of relationships and reflection, most often in rhyme with an embedded connection to the reader.”
The stories in Branch’s books reach across a broad spectrum of issues and emotions surrounding personal responsibility choice and avoidance. Voyeurism Poetry engages the reader in life situations often experienced but not always voiced.
