Originally from Akwa-Ibom State in Nigeria, I have written a total of three books. My first, a text on African-American drama, was published in 2000 by University Press of America and currently appears in such sites as Amazon.com. It is titled, IN SEARCH OF A MODEL FOR AFRICAN-AMERICAN DRAMA. In 2001 First Books Library, USA, published two of my novels, MONTY and GIVE ME WORDS, I’LL FLY. A third novel, HERE COMES THE JUDGE was accepted for publication in 2002 by Fourth Dimension Publishers, Nigeria, and will soon enter full production. I recently completed another novel, MEMOIR OF A HOUSEGIRL, which I am currently editing.
Meanwhile, I have also completed a social satire manuscript, which I title, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?: NIGERIA'S CULT OF BIGMANISM. While this text was accepted for publication, I am yet to enter into agreement with the proposed publisher.
