Beginning my career as a lawyer and actor, I have worked extensively in sales, marketing and public relations.
I have a keen interest in features writing, but also have written publicity pieces, website articles and press releases for a wide variety of companies, ranging from traditional family-run businesses to the technologically driven, as well as internationally recognized FMCG clients, such as Procter & Gamble (SK-II), Evian and Land Rover.
Published articles in periodicals include one on how the Singapore legal system may be women-centric [“The Short End of the Rotan:”, Man (1996)] and an article on Chinese wedding traditions and their place in modern Singapore [“The Ancient Chinese Traditions are Alive in 2002”, Groom n’ Bride (Sept-Nov 2002)].
With my legal training and her experience in sales and marketing, her broad writing style includes the formal and professional, required for more technical pieces, as well as the whimsical and creative, needed for advertising and marketing projects.
Above all, my passion lies in putting the client’s best face forward to the public eye and I do this through gaining a thorough understanding of each client before crafting my words.
