Angela Eward-Mangione

Angela Eward-Mangione is a freelance writer and editor, and currently serves as the Managing Editor for a local/regional health and wellness publication, Tampa Bay Wellness Magazine.

Angela first studied Creative Writing with Gabriel Horn (White Deer of Autumn)—a teacher, writer, and activist in St. Petersburg. Her personal and professional mission is to serve in our democracy as an author, writer, cultural philosopher, leader and teacher.

Angela received a Bachelor's degree in English (American and British Literature), a Graduate Certificate in Comparative Literature/Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Master of Liberal Arts from The University of South Florida, a nationally recognized, research one University. She was also awarded a 6.0—the highest possible score—and a ninety-sixth percentile ranking (nationwide) on the Analytical Writing Section of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

Angela recently authored a unique book on how to prepare for the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) for a publishing company with which she has a contractual agreement. She will announce publication details as they become available.

Her short-term projects include the personal essays, media reviews, business profiles, and other feature articles she writes on a regular basis for the publication of which she is the editor.

She also contributes health articles to a writing studio on a regular basis. Her forthcoming series will include articles on how to find a holistic physician; choose a psychologist and psychiatrist; choose an internist; identify, manage and treat interstitial cystitis; and how to use massage therapy for health and wellness. Angela will write this series based on her personal experiences.

Additionally, Angela has authored a series of articles for Academic Students and Professionals, including "How to" write footnotes in MLA style, construct a CV (Curriculum Vitae), write a CV, become a community college instructor and how to write for a living.

Personally, Angela is an avid sports participant and enthusiast. Running is her favorite activity. She is currently training for her first 10K race- Disney's "Race for the Taste," this fall at Epcot. Angela also loves to bicycle, swim and actively practice yoga and pilates. Angela previously lost 104 pounds and personally reduced her weight from 222 to 118 pounds. She enjoys writing sports and fitness articles.
