I am nearing the age of 30 and have been experiencing a stream of words for the past two or three years. I have always thought that my work was rather juvenile, until I fell inlove with a man, who invoked my ability to experience myself through my words. I currently hold the position of Lecturer in the department of anthropology at Rhodes University. As 'teaching' has always been a passion of mine, I find that I am in a place I have longed for, for what seems to be eternity.

And yet there is a stirring within my soul .. my essence. A fire which seems to consume my mind and thought processes. A fire which needs to be expressed in words which are both bold and yet reflective; daring yet docile ... words which would allow the reader to be present with me as I continue on my ever-spiralling journey to my full becoming ...

I want to live fully and what better way to do so than through words ... words which restrict and try to simulate a specific feeling, event, epiphany ... yet those very words provide one with the intense location of your soul at the moment of writing ... they are like the eagle soaring, searching with acuity for the place to rest ... another's soul ... these are words ...

Interests: life and love ... reading and more reading of any material that will make me ponder and reflect on my life situation and those of others
