I recently graduated college with a BA in English. I took up writing at the age of ten simply to record my daydreams, which my friends seemed extremely interested in. I continued writing for the sheer joy of it, and also because I loved the feeling of making others smile.
My first publication came in my Freshman year of college. The college's journal published a poem and essay in its 2000 and 2001 editions. After transfering to another university, an essay was published in the 2002 edition of their journal and a poem published in the 2003 edition. The Writer's Hood accepted one of my short stories for its October children's page in 2002. A short was accepted for the Febuary 2003 science-fiction and nonfiction pages. I am also publishing a serial novel on the science-fiction page now. Currently, I am working on three novels and getting my own freelance writing and editing business off the ground.
Interests: Some of my earliest memories have me sitting with a book in my lap. Needless to say, I am in love with the written word. There is no better medium to share your world with others, be it the simple joys of taking a walk through the forest in early spring
