When I was 16 years old, a girl I had been dating announced that she was breaking up with me. When I asked why, she informed me, "You don't ever tell me how you feel. You tell stories instead."

I should have taken that as a sign, but it wasn't until after I had graduated college and started working full-time when I realized something was missing in my life. I didn't feel complete. A soft voice had been whispering in my ear over the years, but it had grown frustrated with being ignored for so long. As I struggled to figure out what I had missed, I finally heard that voice and realized that I was a storyteller. I needed to tell stories, and so I tried to write a novel.

It was difficult, yet easy in a way. As I struggled through that first novel, I found my calling. It's as if this was what I was born to do--either that, or my brain had been hardwired to look at the world as a series of interconnecting and overlapping stories, and this was how I was able to express myself and my thoughts.

I have written a total of eight novels. The first one was an experiment, in no way marketable. However, my storywriting has gotten stronger with each novel and my story ideas have grown in complexity. I have even written the first three novels of a series I have envisioned, regarding the Eternal Battle of good versus evil, played out in our dimension.

I am currently trying to attract an agent to help me sell "Maze of Shadows", an action/adventure novel about revolutionary war breaking out in Russia, and the American college students who are trapped in Moscow when the war erupts.

I know I will continue to write novels. I am committed to becoming a skilled, successful writer. Hopefully, my dreams will be realized--but even if I never become published, I know I will continue to reach out through my stories, to tell others how I 'feel' through the characters in my novels.
