Unfortunateley, I should have discovered long ago that writing is what I should be doing in my life. India as a country does not consider writing as a career unless you have lived in the Uk or Canada or some other first world country or you are a regional writer who writes about the social dramas and rural India. Nobody thinks of writing for pure entertainment like in the West. I am one of the minority(I believe) who feel that when someone picks up a book, it should give enjoyment to the reader. You should not have to think about the class and caste division when you read. They can be part of the character's background, but would not want it to be the thing running throughout the story. The reader should forget where he or she is while immersed in the story, the characters and the narration.
Interests: Horror is my favourite subject. I love reading long and generation-spanning sagas too.
