Film Star & Company founder Rachel Langley in addition to being an actress, producer & jewelry maker, is also a writer. She has written over ten short scripts, several of which have been produced ("Six Tulips", "The Art of the Chip", "Show Me Yours"). Stage works of hers include the one act "Meeting Zelda Zonk" which was produced in 2003 and she co-wrote the sketch comedy show "Birdcage" which went up in 2004 at Centerstage. Some of her more noteable scripts include "Break Night Club" and the short "Meeting Nightshade" which won Best Direction, received first runner up in the Midnight Madness Film Competition and was screened at the NYU Cantor Film Center. She is currently reworking her one woman show "80s Girl" and further developing her short script "Twinkle, Twinkle" based on Marilyn Monroe's last interview. Rachel is a member of Urban Arts, The Women's Fund for the Arts and a volunteer with the YMCA's mentoring program.
