Well - what can I say? I'm the one and only J-Lo. My full name is Joshua Logan Brown. I've been deemed J-Lo by my oh so loving friends and family, because I simply never stop singing, bouncing around, and flat out having a good time. I tend to take things slow, and one step at a time. I'm in no hurry to reach any specific point of my life. The further you progress in life, the less you have left. In general, I just tend to live for the moment. (As most of my close friends can testify to.) I wear what I'm feeling on my sleeve. I don't hold any feelings back. I just call it like I see it. Straight up. I LOVE to write poetry, and my own original songs as well. I have no problem taking time out of my life to sit down and capture inspiring things in a poem or song. I love music, and poetry and song writing go together hand in hand. However, my latest project has been to attempt to write my first novel. It's loosely based around one of my good friends, who has had an up and down life the past year. Between accepting himself as homosexual, and battling with testicular cancer, there are oodles of ups and downs to write about. Wish me luck, because I may need a little of it. I hear this writing business is a tough one to get your feet planted in. We'll see what happens.
