Neal D. Bogosian holds a dual Masters Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education, from Johnson & Wales University, as well as a B.S. degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Florida Southern College and a degree in Performing Arts from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in New York City.
Neal is the creator of an original short story series, The Adventures of Chip Doolin, which appeared in the national publication, Vintage and Classic Baseball Collector. He re-visited the project and turned it into a full-length work of fiction for young adults and baseball fans of all ages, that rose to #1 in its Amazon Kindle edition, and reached the top 10 in its category, in paperback format, on Amazon.com. Set in 1909, it is the improbable story of a beleaguered farm boy from Virginia, who makes the roster of the Detroit Tigers. Additionally, Neal's freelance work has appeared nationally, including Warpaint Illustrated Magazine covering the Kansas City Chiefs (division of Fox Sports), Food Distribution Magazine (FDM) and Fort Worth Texas Magazine, amongst others.
Formerly, Neal served as a Corporate Communications professional which included work in the publicity department of Castle Hill Film Productions, where he assisted in the implementation of Marketing and Publicity campaigns. Neal also previously spent time in the film and entertainment business, accumulating credits on stage and in the commercial arena. Neal is presently a public school teacher and a private reading and writing tutor.
He is working on two screenplays, both of which may soon enter the pre-production stage.
