A technical writer with over 25 years experience explaining technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. A graphic artist/illustrator who creates a full spectrum of images when there is very little to work from.

My career started writing repair procedures (step-by-step) instructions for the maintenance and upkeep of Nuclear Submarines in the US Navy.

I then moved onto writing DoD documents for the Military, heavy equipment manuals. Managed the contracts I worked and the hosted numerous government meetings, validations and verifications.

Relocated to Michigan in 1994 and began writing operator and maintenance manuals for automated production equipment. This evolved into do quality documentation and instructions for ISO/QS companies.

I contracted several Aerospace companies, writing components manuals, FAA certifications, qual test plans and qual test procedures and engineering test results documentation.

I contracted several companies as a quality writer for specific purposes of certifying QS/TS/TE standards.

Primary background is in electrical/mechanical, structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC/PLC/PC controlled items.

I enhance documents with illustrations and graphics and have created numerous multimedia guides.

Interests: High technology components, automated production or specialty equipment, PLC or computer controlled components, and challenges.
