What can I say? I love writing! I have been writing longer than I can remember, and enjoy every minute of it. In high school, I won county level and went on to state for one of my poems. In addition to that, I had several pieces, including a mixture of poetry and short stories, published in our school literary magazine. My main interest is writing short stories and poems for children. Being the mother of three children, I am often inspired by the things they say and do. Sometimes they tend to ask questions that you would never expect to have to answer, ranging from questions about apples to questions about God, and I find that the best way to answer these is with the stories and poems I write. I also enjoy writing stories for older children, using my personal experiences or my dreams as a basis for these. I am really hoping to be able to share my stories with other children.
I have recently taken to blogging as a way to stay in the writing habit.
