Born in Cameroon, West Africa. She obtained a Bachelors in Biochemistry, and is a recent graduate from the well-known Neighborhood playhouse School of Theatre in NYC.

Dorothy has appeared in roles such as Wedding Band for Equity Showcase theatre, Mattie Campbell in the August Wilson play, 'Joe Turner's Come and Gone,' at the Queen's Theatre in the Park;
Manon in Lorena Gale's 'Angelique';
Minna in Horton Foote's 'A Young Lady of Property, and Linda in Aven 'U' Boys' .. among others.

She also starred in the independent film 'One Night.' and appeared in the film 'Coping,' and Dollar Van. She recently co-produced, co-wrote AD and starred in an independent film shot in Toronto.

Presently working on her 2nd screenplay and an untitled feature film.
