Philip Morehouse
Agent: Inquiring Concord, North Carolina, United States Email: tecwrt@yahoo.com Yahoo: Philip_Morehouse@Yahoo.com
Has written several action, mystery, adventure type novels and children’s short stories, several are ready for agent/publisher consideration.
He has been a Professional Photographer over 30 years and Technical Writer over 25 years. As a photographer, his specialty is weddings, portraits and model portfolios. As a technical writer, he has published hundreds of manuals and has authored numerous Web Help systems.
His adventures started out in the mountains of upstate New York where he grew up on a small farm. At the age of 14 he suddenly found himself on my own. His life went from being chased by bulls, nearly being electrocuted during a wiring accident, facing down the Russians in Cuba, almost drowning in St. Thomas, brought a child back twice in one day from death, to setting here writing this. Yes, there is a story behind each one of these events and more – but then that’s another story that he's writing.
There isn’t too much he haven’t done or seen, so he is able to write from experience just about anything that he chooses. He has been a farmer, electrician, Navy Machinist Mate, diver, insurance salesman, retail sales person, college student, equipment assembler, technical writer and father, to mention only a few of his experiences.
While relaxing, he loves to write stories packed with outdoor adventure and action, with a dash of romance and mystery and just a sprinkle of humor. For years he has written from his own enjoyment and those around him, but now that he has written several short and novel length stories his family insists that there is some merit to them and that he really should get them published. As further encouragement, a college professor gave him 12 upper level college credit for one, saying, "it the best thing he ever read". But then again, after reading his stuff he’d think anything was good. So it is with no small amount of trepidation that he has thrown his tattered hat into the fray, hoping that someone will throw a better one back.
A note for the faint of heart, when it comes to computers (email) since he helped sell the first computers ever available to the public and has always had one and therefore is somewhat computer literate and therefore can respond in any format you would wish to communicate to him with.
If you want to know more about him or his stories, email him at: tecwrt@yahoo.com and he'll chat with you for awhile about them.
