Handsome, debonair, a towering figure of strength and dependability. Sadly Jay is none of these. In truth he is a Royal Navy Officer that spends his off-watch time writing stageplays. The first of his comic plays has now been produced twice; the first production having gained several awards – including Best Original Stageplay. Its second production won the awards for best Overall Production, Best Director and Best Male Newcomer. Jay's second play won the award for Best Original Stage Play.
His second swept the board gaining Best Overall Production and over 50% of the other awards. It also gained the award for Production of the Year in a professionally run South of England theatre festival.
Acting and presenting wise, he has performed as the MC at Trafalgar Sqaure for the 200th aniversary of Nelson's great victory in front of a 10,000+ audience and live TV and has been offered three roles in sitcoms (but the Navy have denied him the time off!).
He is currently writing his fifth two-act play, writing his first screenplay and publishing an antology of comic shorts. Interests: Science & Technology, Science Fiction, Psychology, Music, Motorcycles and Acting.
