I hate bios. Everything I've ever published or produced came with that little hitch: the bio. Most of the time I can get away with something like: Author of Shadow Soldier and Home To Texas; or writer, producer and director of The Green Room; or T.L. Davis has written for Mountain Living, Western Horseman, and Art Revue.
What else is there to know, really? Over the past eleven years I have had success in every form of writing that I've tried. That is a curse as much as a blessing. It makes me appear to be unfocused, or wishy washy. The fact is, I write to the idea. Sometimes, the idea is too precise to be a novel, too complicated to be a short story, or too visual to be a poem. The form changes to fit the vision.
I am currently looking to get back into writing as a profession. I have a short story soon to be published in an anthology and I am currently working on a novel and a short film. I have joined Writers.net to find some help in getting my projects before the right people.
