I grew up playing on the streets of Chicago so that makes me a city kid. I'm the second oldest of 13 children born to Irish Catholic parents and that made me a poor city kid. The big city has a lot to offer about the secrets of life and my character and who I am are reflected from that learning experience. Although I write mostly fiction my tales are always filled with true life antidotes either from my own personal experiences or those of others I've met on lifes journey. I also seem to get myself involved in situations that require a bit more than passive interest such as work stoppages and other union matters. Some of these have been extremely violent and I have incorporated bits and pieces of them into my writing. Although like any fiction writer my imagination is my constant companion my story lines always contain topics and events I'm familiar with.
Interests: My passion is writing and besides doing this book I have written and submitted several stories to different magazines and newspapers. Now that I have retired I have more time for my writing and my wife and I also enjoy traveling.
