Janusz Nagiecki

Chronicle, E Magazine, Ecologist, and other prominent publications. He is also
the author of two books: California's Wine Country and Road Biking Northern
California (Globe Pequot Press).
A former Colorado ski instructor and bicycle tour leader, Janusz has considerable
experience in the outdoors. He has led group cycling vacations through many of the
national parks and other scenic destination areas in the United States and Canada.
He has also developed and taught beginner and intermediate mountain bicycling
skills courses. Among his personal achievements is riding the full length of the
rugged Colorado Trail, which runs along the crest of the Rocky Mountains from
Durango to Denver. He was the first cyclist ever to ride the 500-mile trail, completing
the journey in 15 days.
